December 1999. Vancouver. I discover the book that changed my thinking about diets and set me on a very different path: Intuitive Eating by Evelyn Tribole.
August 2011. Wallingford. I discover hypnotherapy and how hypnosis can help with my weight and eating issues. Except it doesn’t. It helps me with stress, absolutely, but still my weight and eating issues don’t get resolved.
I plough on. I redo programmes I’ve already done. I reread books I have read half a dozen times.
Baby steps. Two steps forward, one step back.
Still, I desperately want to
I cannot carry on like this until I die.
I am determined to find a solution.
2013. Through a friend, I come across Jon Gabriel, his Gabriel Method and his two books, and how visualisation is the basis of everything, in weight loss just as in any other areas where you want to be successful – sports, business, smoking cessation, anxiety, depression, public performance. ANYTHING.
2014. I train as a hypnotherapist and discover EFT – Emotional Freedom Techniques, otherwise known as tapping.
And my life changes radically.
I then read books by EFT experts who applied the EFT techniques to weight loss specifically.
A whole new world of healing has opened up for me.
I am healed. I am cured.
After 15 years of research and experimentation.
When I thought I couldn’t ever be completely cured and healed and I would have to plough through the rest of my life carrying these wounds, hurts and disappointments – not to mention this weight.
I bet that’s how you feel too. At the end of your tether. Completely disillusioned.
I want to save you 15 years. You don’t need to go through all that I’ve been through.
I can give you all my tips, tools and techniques so that in just a few months, you will be well on your way to recovery, to healing your past and solving your personal issues.
Because my approach combines all the revolutionary (and not so revolutionary) methods that I’ve used for 15 years.
I have found that these methods only moderately work on their own – but together, it’s like fireworks in your body, your mind, your bathroom and your bedroom – in front of your mirror, in your clothes, with your husband or partner, with your friends and family. Fireworks, dancing, jumping up and down, realisations, breakthroughs.
That’s what it was like for me, and some days I still have to pinch myself to realise that I have actually managed to get to where I am.
And so now I want to help you.
Are you ready?
No more diets.
Just Freedom From Food.
My name is Saveria, I am married and have two daughters. I am French and have been living in the UK for over 20 years, in the Oxfordshire area for 13. I qualified as a birth doula (professional birth companion) and postnatal doula (mum’s help) in 2011 (I trained with Michel Odent and Liliana Lammers on their Paramana Doula course) and as a HypnoBirthing™ practitioner (the Marie Mongan Method) in 2012. In 2014, I became a HypnoMothering™ practitioner, an IEMT practitioner (Integral Eye Movement Therapy) and finally a Professional and Clinical Hypnotherapist and an EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming™) practitioner. In 2015, I retrained as a hypnobirthing instructor with The Wise Hippo Ltd.
My hypnotherapy and NLP training was with Thoughtitude. The courses are run by June O’Driscoll and Geoff Rolls, who are valuable members of the trainer assisting teams for Richard Bandler (co-creator of NLP) and for Paul McKenna.
My Diploma in Professional and Clinical Hypnotherapy is validated by the General Hypnotherapy Register and the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (this means you can find my details on the GHR website and thus verify my qualifications) and I am licensed with the Society of NLP (founded by Richard Bandler). I am thus bound by the GHR and NLP Codes of Ethics.
I am also listed on the Hypnotherapy Directory (which checks all therapists’ credentials) and I am fully insured with Arthur J. Gallagher/Royal & Sun Alliance for all the therapies I provide.
As part of my continuing professional development (CPD) and my own personal development, I read a wide variety of books and articles and I regularly attend seminars, workshops, lectures and courses, whether online or face to face, some of which are listed below:
- The Sheila Granger Brain Training for Sugar Addiction Programme (2016)
- The Tapping World Summit with Nick Ortner (2016)
- The Mindfulness Summit with Melli O’Brien (2015)
